The Komori-Ka MTO series of connectors is a key driver behind the global adoption of multi-fiber optical technology, providing proven, high-performance solutions for data centers and network operators.

The MTO series connector solutions cover a range of fiber sizes from 2.0mm to 5.5mm, meeting requirements across all application scenarios. A universal hardware package standardizes the geometric structure, simplifying production and reducing inventory. The PR-MTO is compatible with the standard series and meets spring-force requirements for all use cases.

MTO-16 Series Connectors
Trusted MTO brand performance for new MTO-16 fiber optic applications.
Available with 1x16-fiber and 2x16-fiber MT ferrules.
Features the same external dimensions as the standard MTO series but with an offset key.

MTO Series Circular Fiber Optic Connectors

MTO Series Angle Connectors

When paired with MTO-series angled flange adapters, it offers the most compact fiber optic

cable exit among all MTO connectors in the industry.

Supports 3.0mm and 3.6mm round fiber optic cables.

Suitable for applications with limited space, such as the front of a bulkhead or inside

a cabinet or enclosure.

When connected to an MTO-series angled flange adapter, the protrusion from the panel

is less than 30mm.


Enhanced Performance of MTO Series Connectors

Kyomori-Ka offers MTO components specifically designed for demanding applications. Elliptical

guide pins keep guide holes clean and minimize debris, thereby enhancing service life and durability;

a recessed pin clamp paired with an elliptical spring increases clearance to protect fiber ribbons,

while a high-strength version ensures physical contact for 24-fiber dual-row ferrules. Additionally,

the products feature enhanced strength and corrosion resistance in the cable and pulling boot,

delivering superior performance under extreme temperature cycling.


MTO Series Ribbon Bare Fibers and Oval Connectors

Designed for demanding applications, the Kyomori-Ka MTO component supports ribbon fiber configurations of up

to 16 fibers with integrated strain relief. It enables direct termination of bare ribbon fiber or

oval-jacketed cables and is compatible with high-fiber-count arrays and standard springs.


MTO Series Flexible Conduit

The MTO jacket integrates flexible and rigid components to eliminate the preferential bending characteristic

of ribbon cables, enabling omnidirectional routing and mechanical loading for round cables (3.0/3.6mm).

It ensures stable, flexible positioning at 0° and 90° orientations and withstands repeated bending without

compromising optical performance.






MT Ferrule Performance

Kyomori-Ka manufactures durable PPS thermoplastic ferrules supporting up to 72 fibers (compatible with 125μm optical fiber); these are compatible with MTO-series MPO connectors and custom optical coupling kits.

The products are available in various performance grades—including single-mode and multi-mode—to meet diverse requirements regarding fiber counts and applications.

Kyomori-Ka’s innovations have established MT-16 as the standard for 400G optical module links. Its comprehensive MT-16 product line extends industry-leading multi-core fiber performance to higher-density specifications.
Single-Mode 8-Degree Angled APC MT Ferrule and MT-16 Ferrule
The Kyomori-Ka single-mode APC ferrule features a pre-formed 8° end-face, eliminating the need for grinding and polishing fixture processes, thereby enabling high-efficiency production, low investment, and superior performance.

Plating Specifications

Kyomori-Ka MPO cable assemblies and adapters utilize high-density MTO/MPO connectors and flexible round cables to deliver high port density and low-loss connectivity while simplifying network architecture.
