Kyomori-Ka Corporation has recently developed a USB Type-C connector, a standard interface widely used in computers, smartphones, portable devices, AV equipment, game consoles, and other industries. As smartphones become increasingly powerful and compact, the demand for waterproofing also rises. To address these requirements, we have developed and begun selling a compact and robust one-piece waterproof connector compliant with the USB Type-C standard. The "USB Type-C™ Connector" features a miniaturized design, supports 40Gbps high-speed transmission, a maximum current supply of 5A, and supports reversible insertion. Compared to previous models, it features more terminals and more precise surface mounts, ensuring better connection reliability and high-speed transmission characteristics. Kyosemi participated in the standardization design of the USB Type-C™ connector. Leveraging its years of experience in high-precision design of small connectors and high-speed transmission design, Kyosemi developed the USB Type-C™ connector, which features excellent EMI/EMC characteristics, sufficient mechanical strength, and a locking mechanism with outstanding lifespan.
