BM40B Series

The BM40B series (0.4mm pitch, 0.8mm stacking height, 2.5mm width) board-to-board connectors are designed for high-density mounting in compact devices such as smartphones. The contacts feature a vibration- and shock-resistant CAM dual-point contact design, while the plug incorporates a wiping mechanism to clear away foreign matter, ensuring high stability; additionally, a simple locking structure provides tactile feedback, delivering an excellent mating feel.

Product Features

The locking mechanism upon engagement is a unique feature of our company; it offers a low-profile design and excellent tactile feedback, while also providing enhanced retention force during disconnection.
The contacts feature a dual-point clamping design that is resistant to vibration and drops; the plug utilizes a TN-R mechanism to clear away solder spatter and PCB debris, ensuring high contact reliability.
The mating mechanism utilizes the "FINE-LOCK" design. It combines a low-profile structure with excellent tactile feedback and provides enhanced retention force during unmating.
There is no exposed metal on the back of the connector; the restricted routing area is minimal, allowing for greater flexibility in routing traces between the terminal pads. It is suitable for high-density mounting.
Structure To Prevent Weld Lifting
The socket features a raised nickel barrier, and the plug is of one-piece molded construction, preventing the risk of solder wicking during SMT soldering.
Splash-Resistant Structure
The contact areas on both connectors feature a protective barrier that prevents flux and other spatter from adhering to them.
RoHS Compliant
In consideration of environmental concerns, substances prohibited by the RoHS Directive have not been used.
