Kyomori-Ka's M.2 Next Generation Form Factor (NGFF) connectors are specifically designed for ultra-thin products. Currently, expanding functionality for technologies such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, SSDs, Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS), Near Field Communication (NFC), WiGig, and WWAN (2G, 3G, and 4G) requires different card modules and connectors. The new PCI Express® M.2 specification assigns different functions to the card modules via keys and standardizes the connector's connector shape to support high-speed transmission for PCIe (Gen.5), USB 3.0, and SATA 3.0 standards. The PCI Express® M.2 connector MN26 series is a product developed by Kyomori-Ka from the product specification proposal and design stage, featuring numerous keys compatible with different heights and card modules.

Product Features

It fully complies with the PCI-SIG PCIe M.2 Gen 5 specification and is backward compatible with Gen 3 and Gen 4, as well as USB 3.0, DisplayPort, and SATA standards. The polarity keys are assigned based on the application. For details, please refer to the PCI Express M.2 specifications.
Miniature edge connector with 0.5 mm pitch (2 rows) and 67 pins.
The power pins support 1A current.
Four types have been developed: eight heights for onboard mounting and two heights for embedded mounting.
Two circuit board mounting methods were developed for plug-in products: SMT type and through-hole type.
It offers different heights and key controls, allowing you to choose one based on your circuit board layout.
The card supports four polarity keys: A, B, E, and M, allowing multiple modules to be inserted into the card's edge connector.
